Bill - There are two criteria that we used to select the 800 Mhz - the
first is pricing, and the second was the expectancy for product
availability.

While the 933 Mhz processor is the minimum speed available, it is expected
to be
orderable through the product life of the GX110. Dell expects to
discontinue this product in August of this year.

The 933 is also the "sweet spot" in terms of pricing, with the upgrade to 1
GHz priced at $90.

I have spoken to Dell regarding the situation. They are sending an eval
unit with the 933 Mhz processor to my attention.

NECX has 8 outstanding orders for Athena GX110 workstations. There is a
small possiblility that Dell may be able to fill some or all of those
orders with the 800 Mhz processors. If they are unable to do this, should
we suggest that NECX hold these orders or go ahead? I am concerned that
people may be trying to purchase in this fiscal year.
