Do we want to release 8.4.17 for Solaris with the problem
described in bugs[18497] unfixed? (for those who don't follow bugs, the
problem is that the /usr/java -> /usr/java1.1 symlink is being deleted).
I looked at this a little last night, and couldn't easily see what was
going on.

Although the problem is easily worked around using the java
locker on explicitly looking in /usr/java1.1/bin, it seems to be that
there are probably people who are expecting /usr/bin/java to work on our
Suns, and this is a poor time of term to break it.

I'd be in favor of delaying the patch release for Solaris until
we understand and fix the problem. Thoughts?
