1. 8.4.15
We will aim for dev cell this week, Athena cell Oct. 23
Includes a Solaris patch requested by kolya, an IRIX patch to fix the
fam issue, and a bunch of Linux updates, as well as other recent
fixes.
Linux machines seem to be mixing /usr/include/{linux,asm} due to a bug
in the new kernel-headers RPM. We need to look into this more. It's
probably not urgent to fix it right away; we will tell cfyi how to
tell people how to fix it by hand to get compiles working.
2. ADSM
Alex has an ADSM tarball which runs a daemon to do scheduled backups.
We need to document this in the PWOG (which is coming along, slowly)
and mkserv-ify it.
3. ZIP250 drives
An IRIX bug prevents mediad from mounting ZIP250 drives automatically.
We have a locally developed workaround which involves editing an
existing IRIX shared object and installing it under a diffrent name.
This seems reasonable, and we'll probably do that for 8.4.15.
