I expected to go to beta tonight on all three platforms, but ran into
some unexpected problems:
* A problem of some kind cropped up in the Solaris 8.3
install, making it impossible to test the 8.4 update in
time.
* The new rpm in Red Hat 6.2 did something odd to file
dependencies. (The "Provides:" patches I submitted do not
solve the problem; it's something deeper which I haven't
worked out.)
I guess I'll send the SGIs into beta tonight, since they should be
okay. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get the other two platforms
to go.
