For what it's worth, Debby Levinson told me today that
inner-beauty.mit.edu, which is an Indy, also seemed to have 8.3 on it.
(She noticed it because 8.3 on SGIs makes Netscape 4.61 in infoagents do
odd things, but that's a separate issue.)
This came as a big surprise to her - she has never designated the machine
as early, nor available for any kind of test releases.
