Speaking of BioSym problems...
When you source the rc file, e.g. /mit/biosym_root/cshrc970, it sets
the environment variable LM_LICENSE_FILE to a file in the biosym_root
licenses directory. With that setting, compiles complain about not
finding a valid license (they normally find it in /var/flexlm/license.dat,
one of the default license file paths).
Alex -- is there some other way to set up the BioSym licensing without
setting LM_LICENSE_FILE? Are there other applications which set this
env variable?
