This is a summary of the problems installing machine-dependent symlinks
on 6.2 Indy's. It excludes programs under /usr/demos with similar
machine dependency problems; I can make a list of these if desired.
I believe that all of these will be corrected by reinstalling the
containing packages, in the manner discussed in today's meeting.
Bob
The following file is symlinked to a non-existent file on XL graphics
Indy's:
/usr/include/gl/feed.h
The following libraries are all symlinked to the XZ graphics version,
and will lose on XL graphics Indy's (this is the BioSym problem):
/usr/lib/libgd.so
/usr/lib32/libGL.so
/usr/lib32/libGLcore.so
/usr/lib32/libgd.so
/usr/lib32/libgl.so
The following libraries are symlinked to the mips4 version
(/usr/lib32/mips4/...); they should link to the mips3 version
on R4?00 Indy's, so will presumably lose on those machines:
/usr/lib32/libcomplib.sgimath.so
/usr/lib32/libcomplib.sgimath_mp.so
The following libraries are symlinked to the mips3 version; they should
be linked to the mips4 version on R5000 Indy's:
/usr/lib32/crt1.o
/usr/lib32/crtn.o
/usr/lib32/dsmcrt.o
/usr/lib32/libblas.so
/usr/lib32/libblas_mp.so
/usr/lib32/libexc.so
/usr/lib32/libfastm.so
/usr/lib32/libffio.so
/usr/lib32/libfortran.so
/usr/lib32/libfpe.so
/usr/lib32/libftn.so
/usr/lib32/libftn90.so
/usr/lib32/libm.so
/usr/lib32/libm43.so
/usr/lib32/libmx.so
/usr/lib32/mcrt1.o
/usr/lib32/nonshared/crt1.o
/usr/lib32/nonshared/crtn.o
/usr/lib32/nonshared/libc.a
