Just to avoid confusion, GL adds about 32MB to the os volume. 15MB
was just my initial estimate of what would have been the additional
amount tracked onto local disk with no modifications to the os
subscription list.

Looking more carefully, the additions which would show up locally are:

/usr/openwin/lib/GL tree with four libraries: 7.3MB
	/usr/openwin/lib/libGL*, three new libraries: 1.1MB
	/usr/openwin/platform/sun4u/lib/GL, four new libraries: 15.7MB
	/usr/openwin/lib/server/modules, new module: 0.5MB

There are some modified files, but I think that's it for /usr. We
might be able to just make it all symlinks (the server module is the
only one that worries me). I'll have to experiment a bit. It'd be
helpful if I had a GL app of any kind to try out; it looks like the
only ones installed are "ogl_install_check" and "xglinfo", which don't
sound very representative.

I think I can avoid reverting the OS volume by just not releasing it
for the 8.2.9 patch release, and generating the OS statfile from the
RO. Then we see about getting this new stuff into 8.2.10 safely.
