8.2.7 went to early this evening (sorry about the late notice). The
changes were:
* Two race conditions were fixed in dm and additional logging
was added.
* Two memory leaks were fixed in zhm.
* snmpd reports the value of the MRUPDATE rc variable instead
of trying to get the outdated SMSUPDATE variable.
* sshd sets XAUTHORITY to a directory under /tmp, so that
forwarded X credentials don't go over the net to AFS home
directories in the clear.
* telnetd has additional waiting for encryption so that NCSA
telnet clients can connect when the -e option is specified.
* telnet won't try to negotiate authentication when a port
is specified or when no host is specified.
* ftpd implements a -E option to require that passwords not be
sent in the clear.
* The man pages for BIND programs have been installed.
* On both SGI platforms, syncconf will sync the nvram netaddr
variable with the machine's IP address.
* On all platforms, syncconf uses the mv -f option when moving
files to avoid asking for user input.
