I believe the answers at this point are:
1. we don't know how to disable the power-save mode. we are looking
into ways and means, but it won't be in the release. Might be a later
patch, depending on what it takes, or a "work-around" that lets private
workstation owners turn it off.
2. done. watch for it in a release coming soon to a computer near you.
