i agree that this isn't something which should go in the release. we can
certainly put something in the consult locker if there is demand for it.
i and several other consultants have various solutions ranging from a
shell alias to perl scripts. i'll put it on my list of things.
i do have one question. does anyone remember where the original nudge for
this came from? i seem to remember mike jacknis asking was the one asking
about this originally, but i'm not sure. if you do remember, please let
me know, especially if he or she was never replied to on this, so that i
can include them on any messages if we end up putting something in
consult.
