I have tested MAE under 8.1 and have determined the following-
Things that don't depend on Appletalk seem to work, except for
the CD drive. I've been able to make it work by doing 2 things:
1. Editing a device number in a config file within the mae tree
2. Changing permissions on device sd@3,0:c from brw-r----- to brw-r--r--
Floppy access requires that device sd@6,0:a also have brw-r--r--
permissions, but this already appears to be the case.
If you don't have a problem with this, I'd therefore like to request that
the change in 2. be incorporated in the upcoming patch release that will
fix Appletalk.
