What were you trying to do?
I was trying to create an .iso image from a DVD, and then burn this image to a blank DVD.
What's wrong:
Brasero does not detect the DVD drive: the Select disk to copy drop-down is greyed out and says "no disc available"
What should have happened:
The disc drive should have been selectable in the Select disc to copy dropdown.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
Clean log-in to Ubuntu. DVD will play with VLC.
