What were you trying to do?
Open the sound prefernces window. Every athena computer I log into has no sound. This happened with multiple computers.
What's wrong:
A starting sound preferences window opens but after a few seconds a different dialogue box opensIt says starting sound prefernce saying 'waiting for sound system to respond' and this box stays until I log out
What should have happened:
Sound prefrences should open
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
This is not about documents but I spend a lot of time in the mac lab so my quota was getting full so I started deleting things, I may have accidentally deleted the sound file?
