We are currently looking at the best way to assign IP addresses and host names. Numbers could be assigned to rooms or to students. As far as the names go, in all likelyhood we will assign default names. We need to work out some adminstrative details on how we would handle vanity names, but I believe those will be worked out before the dorms and ilgs come on line.
