Dear UA Exec,
First off, thank you for a wonderful meeting today! It was great to meet
you and have some great conversations.
Second, I browsed through what has been given to me, and I have very little
concerning what exactly the "Institute of the Future" conversation at the
next PAC meeting will be.
Accordingly, I am hoping to put together a report, in collaboration with
all of us, DormCon, IFC, LGC and PanHel on the undergraduate perspective of
the ideal MIT of the future.
What I will need from each one of you, is within the area of your interest
(education, innovation, student support and wellness, sustainability,
etc.), brainstorm with your committees what the ideal future of your area
would be at MIT, why that is the ideal future, and how we could achieve
that ideal future. Once you have done so, please write your appropriate
section in this report

I encourage you to think very big picture and far-out, yet be pragmatic and
logical in your approach about how to get there.
It is my hope to have an initial draft of this report to Council by May 8.
