The Dragon Burger and housemade chips (fries) was one of my favorite pub plates I've ever had. The fries are divinely salted and spiced with just the right amount of bite to them (ask for a side of chipotle aioli), and the burger itself was cooked perfectly in between medium and medium-rare with spicy pickled peppers and chipotle mayo supplementing the melted pepper jack cheese nicely. I also tried some of the curry chicken salad sandwich. Unique flavor combination, with the spiciness of the curry well balanced by the sweetness of the cranberries, finished with a nice crunch from the pecans. I had a Young's Double Chocolate Stout with this first meal, which was essentially like drinking alcoholic chocolate milk...who wouldn't like that?7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee

I've been here a handful of times and each time is just as good, if not better than the last. The service is impeccable. Each time I've been greeted by my server within a minute of being seated. There is an amazing beer selection and $5 mimosa's on Sundays - no liquor though, just beer and wine. It's classic pub food from the UK, and it's done amazingly well. I've tried the fried green beans, Katherine salad, the Dragon's Milk Braised Beef Rib, and the Steak and Eggs (BRUNCH) - I wish I worked closer because this would defiantly be a weekday lunch spot for me.

The fried green beans are AMAZING, the truffle aioli is a must. The Katherine salad is the perfect blend of chilled steak, a perfectly fried onion ring, Amblu cheese and this amazing parmesan dressing. The mashed potatoes that come with the beef rib are like a pile of heaven on your plate and there is a perfect amount of potatoes to meat - so a meat and potato bite EVERY TIME. One thing I didn't like was the green beans that came with the beef rib, don't get me wrong they're good, but I thought they would have been better if they would have been cooked a little longer. I mean I like a fresh vegetable, but no green vegetable I had in the UK was ever "under cooked" - so maybe next time I'll ask for the green beans to be a little more well done.

We went here yesterday to try out the brunch for the first time and sat at the bar. I don't know what took us so long to get here. THE BRUNCH IS AMAZING! I got the steak and eggs, my eggs were perfectly cooked, the breakfast potatoes were crunchy but not too crispy or hard, the steak was an actual steak! It wasn't some overcooked flat piece of meat you normally get with steak and eggs. There was an amazing blueberry jam that came with my toast and did I mention $5 Mimosa's? One of my friend's had the Beef Rib Benedict - which wasn't a traditional Benedict (it was served on multigrain toast, had cheese on it, and was served with an arugula salad - she said she didn't miss the potatoes). My other friend had the Breakfast Sandwich - she also liked it a lot.7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee
