From the privacy standpoint and the issue of personal information, I belie=
ve that this would fall under the case of a 3rd party (Harris) acting as=
an agent of the Fraternity, and I would expect (!) that there is a confid=
entiality provision in the contract between APO and Harris that prohibits=
them from marketing or otherwise making use of our personal data as a pro=
vided by the Fraternity, and even a provision with regard to safeguarding=
the information from theft, etc. =20

However, it is - after all - a directory we're talking about here, so the=
finished product would essentially be fair game, especially as the inform=
ation is provided/confirmed by the individual for inclusion in said direct=
ory. You can't really be surprised or upset if a directory you contribute=
d to winds up being used for marketing purposes. (Especially if/when an el=
ectronic version is published, not that I'm aware of that in this case.)

The main benefit to the Fraternity is the cleansed and verified address li=
st (for our own fundraising efforts, among other things), but I would also=
hope that we get a small percentage of the directory sales as well.

Charlie
