I just received this information from subscriber Elsa Chen. Apparently,
there is going to be a course in Klingon taught in January at MIT.
Better yet, the instructors are two of our own subscribers, Kevin Iga
<mosquito@athena.mit.edu> and David Cho <dcctdw@athena.mit.edu>. (Shame
on you guys, you should have told the list about this. {{:-)

The question that remains, of course, is whether only MIT students can
take this course or if others can also register for it. (Assuming, of
course, that they live in the Boston area.) Additionally, can we on the
list get any part of the course materials?

Elsa also mentions a Convention to be held here in the Boston area,
which I've included because I thought local subscribers might also want
to hear about it.

Hi! Here is the listing I saw about the Klingon class. Since it's
going to take up just about every weeknight in January, I'm not going,
but others on the list may be interested. Also, you could try emailing
the contact person named below to inform/remind him about our list (he
may already be on it), find out more about the course, and ask for a
set of course materials.
