I asked Marc about this and he confirmed it.

He also checked with Maltz about why predicting the weather used 'e' -lu'
instead of net in the examples. He said that weather forecasts tend to use
'e' -lu' over net, but net would not be wrong.

He also said about Duq and yay', which have similar meanings, that they are
synonyms but Duq tends to be more so than yay'.
