When I spoke to DFAIT they gave no indication to file any paperwork.

Another reference is Bill Unruh's "Excerpts from the Export Control List
of Canada" at <http://axion.physics.ubc.ca/ECL.html>. Canadians can
request a copy of "A Guide to Canada's Export Controls" from their
regional branch of DFAIT. The current edition is dated September 1996.

DFAIT = Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (Canada)

I hope people don't keep thinking that Canada is regulated by the USA. We
only honour ITAR/EAR controls on "US-origin goods."
