We are running version 2.1 in our release.
I would be hesitant to take version 3.0 for our release for the
following reasons:

a) Do we know what benefits there are in the new code?
b) Do we know what will break?
(I have seen comments on the network if the first line of the
file is > 512 bytes the file is rejected)
c) How much integration work is involved?
I did the last one and it took me a week, but then again that
was my first assignment and it was done on a vs2.

This has many implicatiosn wrt testing and installation as their
shell scripts assume that hardlinks work across directories.
	(not in AFS)

Unless (a) above is identfied with a feature that we can't live without,
(but then again we are living fine now), then personally, I don't think
we have the time/resources.

	Ezra
