WHAT IS THE INTERNET?
WHAT CAN IT DO FOR ME?
HOW DO I GET ACCESS?
These are the three most asked questions about the Internet, and now
CLASS can help you get the answers. Come to the CLASS Internet

26, 1992.
The sessions will help you decide if you should get access to the
Internet. You will learn if the system can help you better serve the
needs of your library's users.
Topics covered will include:
* EQUIPMENT needed, PC's and modems
* E-MAIL accounts, electronic conferences, interactive connectivity,
electronic serials
* FTP, or File Transfer Protocol, what it is and what it can provide
you, including access to public domain software
* TELNET and Remote Login, how to access the over 250 library OPACS now
available including applications for library reference and technical
processing and the full text features increasingly becoming available
SIGN UP NOW! Space at these two sessions is limited. Sessions are FREE
