I would like to try to assemble a list of magazines, serials, and journals
whose editorial staff is on line. I realize that what with popular
magazine editors sporting Compuserve addresses this could be a very long
list, but what the heck.
For each entry please send
- the name of the magazine or journal
- the ISSN (International Standard Serial Number)
- the editor's name
- an e-mail address, either a corporate address (editor@journal.com) or
personal address (j.bloggs@mail.foo.net)
If you don't have the ISSN right handy, please look it up, either in the
catalog at dra.com or in the fine print on the inside front cover.
Results will be published periodically to this list and made available
via anonymous FTP.
(I don't think that MARC format knows anything about e-mail addresses, not
in any formal way, but I'll try to keep my database regular enough that
catalogers would be able to readily incorporate that data if they so chose.)
This is a piece of the CICnet project on access and archives for electronic
journals.
thanks,
