Subject: Licenses for print products

For those libraries that have decided to stop getting the AMA directory, or
any other product, for licensing reasons, I would strongly encourage you to
inform the licensing body (i.e., AMA, etc.) of the reason for your decision.
We can hope to influence this trend only if we close the circle by informing
them of our concern. Otherwise, the licensing body may assume that the
reason has more to do with the cost...not a bad assumption in these times,
but frequently off the mark.
