I've seen mention of a text file guide available out there on the net,
containing instructions on "How to send email messages across electronic
online service interconnections."

For example, how to address email to send a message from your Internet account
to a Compuserve address; how to send from Bitnet to MCI Mail; how to send from
DialogMail to Internet; etc.

In the past, I saw a small extract of the text file, in a simple textual
format convention, which listed the services alphabetically, with sort of
sub-entries giving instructions on how to address them from other services.

Does anyone have information on what this email/transfer directory file is
called, and where it might be available via ftp?

thanks,
Ernest
