I am surprised that nobody has mentioned the PARADISE project, which is the
most user-friendly online directory server I have found yet for Internet
addresses. It acts as a front-end to a lot of other directory servers. It also
lists lots of people not on email but working in institutions connected to
Internet. Try it by telneting to
128.86.8.56 login as dua
