I'd also like to encourage technical experimentation as long as I or my
library don't have to pay for something that is or becomes a "technical
failure." Of course, I don't mind being a beta test site if I get
rewarded by free use for staff time and enery expended assisting a
developer improve a product so that it's ready to be offered on the market.
