Recent posts on PACS-L have discussed DOS software for printing to file rather
than to printer. A 1987 Ziff-Davis program (the PC Mag folks) called
PRN2FILE.COM allows redirection of output to a file or to a printer. Usage is:
PRN2FILE <filename> -- all output to lpt1: is sent to <filename>
PRN2FILE -- redirects output to printer.
The program PRN2FILE.BAS, which I am forwarding in a separate message, will
create PRN2FILE.COM. The message containing the listing (which is almost
200 lines long) has the subject PRN2FILE.BAS
While this program is copyrighted, the only restriction is on sale of the code,
not distribution or usage.
