I would be the last one to disagree with the notion that there is a certain
amount of technological "overkill" in the world.  However, unless people take
the initiative and try new ideas we won't realize the potential of electronic
communication.  I would rather have a thousand technical failures crowding
the marketplace then to be content with doing things the same old way.  I hope
that Apple finds a way to make the PDA work.  I encourage any company that
wants to try new ideas in the marketplace to go ahead and give it a shot.
