At Cornell Medical Library the Orders section- option 4 off the Main Menu of
our network-Vital Signs recognizes our users and allows him/her to make
collection suggestions, ask a reference questions, request a librarian-run
literature search, request an interlibrary loan or request a photocopy from an
inhouse item. if the inhouse item is not available, then Vital Signs asks if
the patron wants an Interlibrary loan. Our system has been very well-received.
