The combination of the PDA and a cordless phomne telephone for library use
is fascinating. A patron would be able to check out a PDA (in the future),
wander the stacks, and request furthin further information from reference,
the card catalog, etc., while in the resource area. Maybe it should be
renamed from the Personal Digital Assisatnat to a Personal Library
Assistant (PLA).
