Has anyone out there had success in dialing the Electronic Bulletin
Board and successfully downloading files to their machines.
This bulletin board is based out of the Washington D.C. area and we need
to make a long distance call to access it. Files are not FTPed, but
instead you download them to your local machine.
We use the KERMIT software and we are prompted to send some sort of
signal to begin this download. I have contacted the Economic Bulletin
BOard people and they refer me to my Academic Computing Center who also
are not aware what to do. The extensive KERMIT documentation I have
also doesn't seem to answer the question in an obvious way.
The bulletin board contains many useful files if only we could
access them!
Many thanks as always for your (speedy) responses. Please respond to me
directly. THanks.
