If you plan to attend the LITA President's program ("Tools for Knowing,
Environments for Growing: Visions of the Potential of Information
Technology for Human Development") on Monday, June 29 from 2 - 4 and/or the
LITA Membership Reception (LITA High Tea) from 4 - 5:30, we would like your
help to distribute the booklet of background readings before the program
begins and to greet new members and student members of LITA at the
reception. Actually, if you're a new or student member of LITA, this would
would be a FINE opportunity for you to feel more involved with the
association!!
No matter what your membership status is, if you would like to help out,
please send me an e-mail message or call me by Wednesday, June 24, and I'll
give you the details. Unlike some volunteer activities, this one won't
take much of your time, AND you'll get to enjoy a great program and a
wonderful reception!! Thanks in advance to anyone who can help out.
