The ACRL Discussion Group on Electronic Library Development in Academic
Libraries invites all to join us for a presentation and discussion
about networked information retrieval at the ALA Annual Conference in
San Francisco:
COPING WITH INFORMATION POLLUTION -
NETWORKED INFORMATION TOOLS
This talk will briefly outline some of the current problems with
networked information retrieval. We will look at some applications

Wide Area Information Server (WAIS) which represents a new paradigm in
electronic publishing.
