Subject: Re: Information Please & Instant Recall
Gary, a few years ago, there WAS a shareware program called Instant Recall.
The developers sold it to Broderbund, who changed the name and marketed the
program commercially as MemoryMate. It still is available in that form on
the commercial market (not shareware any longer), but hasn't been updated
significantly.
Now, I see advertisements for another commercial program called Instant Recall.
I think it's commercial and marketed by Chronologic, but I'm not sure of
either of those statements.
I hope this helps.

Subject: Who is using LANtastic in CD-ROM networks
I would like to know who is using LANtastic (ev. in combination with OPTINET)
in CD-ROM networks. Please send me a note if you use it yourself or
if you someone else using it.
I'd appreciate if you also could give me experiences, advantages and
disadvantages.
A summary will be published in the book "CD-ROM Networking in Practice" by
British Library and UK Online User Group.
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

I would like to hear from anyone who has used a large screen TV monitor
(not a LCDU with an overhead projector). We are considering this for
the fall as we introduce users to a new OPAC.
I would appreciate knowing what equipment you used, any glitches, etc.
If you have done similar demonstrations, I would alos like copies of any
scripts you used.

Subject: Using IBM-based CDs on a Mac
Has anyone attempted to run IBM-based CD databases on a Mac using the software
Soft-AT? Is a Mac-based CD-ROM drive required or can IBM-based CD-ROM drives
work? Please elaborate on your experience. Thanks for any help!
