Subject: NEW LIST: NET-TRAIN Bitnet/Internet Trainers List

NET-TRAIN@SLUVCA.SLU.EDU - Bitnet/Internet Trainers List
NET-TRAIN@SLUVCA

(Note: this is *not* a listserv list.)

NET-TRAIN is a discussion list for librarians, academic
department computer jocks, computing and information services
people--anyone who is involved in training or support of others
in using the resources available on Bitnet and Internet. Issues
for discussion might include: Who does the training at a
particular institution? Who gets trained--faculty, staff, and
students? Who provides support for different groups of users?
How is responsibility for different areas divided among different
groups, for instance, academic librarians and computer support
professionals? Plans include developing an archive of training
materials that have been developed in-house at various
institutions.

To subscribe to NET-TRAIN, send a subscription request via mail
text to MILLESJG@SLUVCA.SLU.EDU. Please include "NET-TRAIN" in
the Subject: line.
