Network World, 11 May 1992, p.8 has an article, SUNY Plans Digital
Library, which says SUNY will begin a new building for a digital
library in Albany. Books will be distributed by communications links,
so I assume they will be on-line or CD-ROM or something. The article
says the University is planning to start the project even though they
do not have agreements with publishers for electronic distribution.
Sounds very interesting to me. Does anyone have more info?
