Information Technology and Publications Coordinator (1/2 time)
The Information and Referral Service of the Human Services Coalition seeks
a highly motivated individual to serve as Information Technology and
publications coordinator. The position is currently funded at a half time
level with a generous benefits package and could become full time in the
future.
Responsibilities:
Supports maintenance, and retrieval of community services data; organizes
database information into print and web based formats; ensures compliance
with database standards; monitors database security; maintains working
relationships with local, regional, statewide partners, and technology
vendors; provides support and back-up to I&R call center.
Characteristics:
Has comprehensive knowledge of computer systems, database technology, and
data analysis techniques; develops comprehensive knowledge of community
services; communicates effectively, both orally and in writing; exhibits
initiative and independent judgment. Experience providing phone help to the
public a plus.
Education:
Holds a bachelor’s degree with major concentration in information
management systems including database, publication, and Web development, or
other degree with extensive experience and demonstrated success in these
areas.
