Walden University, which offers graduate degrees at a distance in
education, business, public health and the social and behavioral sciences,
as well as bachelor degree completion programs in business administration
and information systems, is seeking a professional to join our team as
Walden University Librarian. This position is located in Minneapolis, MN
and starts March 1, 2006. Applications will be accepted until the position
is filled.
The Walden Librarian oversees the development, implementation, and
evaluation of library and information resources that support the research
needs of Walden University undergraduate and graduate students. The Walden
Librarian will develop a state-of-the-art Total Information Network (TIN)
on the Walden University Web site and supervise library staff on and off
site. By working closely with Walden University administrative staff and
faculty, the Walden Librarian supports Walden University program outcomes.
The Walden Librarian works in the Office of Student Development and reports
to the Dean of Student Development.
