Location: Metropolitan Library System, Oklahoma City
The best and most current information about security issues and concerns
with library computers will be presented in this one-day workshop.
Attendees will learn about firewalls and network security, public access
computer security, spyware and how to deal with it, recommendations for
anti-virus warfare, reducing spam, and wireless security. After completing
this workshop, attendees will be better equipped to address these issues,
able to more easily solve problems themselves, and be able to work more
knowledgeably with IT departments and vendors.
