Hi:
Can someone tell me what happens to the old CD, when a library gets a new
edition of a CD database? Our library can't afford a subscription to a new
CD-Rom database (FIAF International Index to Film Periodicals). I'm thinking
that a two- or three-year-old CD is better than no CD at all, but I don't want
to do anything unethical or illegal.
If this kind of purchase is legal, would some kind librarian whose library
subscribes to this database please consider letting an older CD in this series
go?
Thank you.
