11 Months Until The Scheduled Release Date Of The Million Dollar DVD
On July 4, 2006, The 35th Anniversary Of Project Gutenberg eBooks
We still need LOTS of help, as the prototype I mentioned months ago,
well, let's just say it's still a prototype, and not even ready from
any point of view for anyone to actually see it.
However, on a more positive note, several experts have assured us as
to the fact that there are very likely several hundred thousand book
files out there on the Internet, if we can harvest them, and then an
OK job of insuring they are in the public domain.
Hopefully with your help, we can start collecting these, and getting
a handle on the ins and outs of doing more efficient copyright work,
given that many of these may have little or no file histories.
Please let us know if you would be willing to start surfing the net,
and if you have any ideas for search strategies, bots, webvcrs, etc.
