SUBWAY(r) CHAIN SELECTS UNIVERSAL DEVILVERY SOLUTIONS, INC FOR
DELIVERY MANAGEMENT AND CRM
-Subway to offer fresh delivery-
(Boca Raton, FL) May 2005- The SUBWAY (r) restaurant chain has selected
Universal Delivery Solutions, Inc (UDSG.PK) to provide the franchise
with a comprehensive delivery management system, allowing SUBWAY to
deliver its fresh food directly to customers using a 100% virtual
system never before seen by the fast food industry.
The continuous success that SUBWAY(r) enjoys has led it to incorporate a
new sales matrix: delivery services. The business system from UDS
will give SUBWAY (r) a "communications highway" creating a
multi-dimensional management system and infrastructure that directs,
manages and tracks all internal and external communication processes
and data flow for orders and delivery. Simply stated, the UDS
business system gives SUBWAY (r) the ability to implement a centrally
based delivery service to include any or all SUBWAY (r) restaurants in
the nation.
SUBWAY(r) anticipates a significant increase in sales while not
cannibalizing in-store revenues. At the same time the chain is
providing it's customers with a value-added experience and a welcomed
convenience.
Both companies are excited about the partnership and anticipate
outstanding results. The UDS business system is 100% virtual,
information-based, and providers a new delivery solution paradigm and
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) which seamlessly manages,
tracks, processes and controls a single customer order entry through
to the delivery of the order. SUBWAY(r) predicts a strong competitive
advantage once implemented, as no other fast-food service utilizes
such a robust system.
The SUBWAY(r) restaurant chain, celebrating its 40th anniversary this
year, is the
world's largest submarine sandwich franchise, with more than 22,800
locations in 81 countries. The chain is also the second largest
fast-food chain in the
world and has surpassed McDonald's in number of locations in the United States,
Canada and most recently, Australia. Headquartered in Milford,
Connecticut, and with
regional offices in Amsterdam, Brisbane, Beirut, Miami and Singapore,
the SUBWAY(r) chain was co-founded by Fred DeLuca and Dr. Peter Buck
in 1965. That
partnership marked the beginning of a remarkable journey-one that made
it possible for thousands of individuals to build and succeed in their
own business. The SUBWAY(r) brand was ranked the number one franchise
opportunity in Entrepreneur magazine's 2005
Franchise 500 listing. This marks the 13th time in 17 years that the
chain has achieved
this honor.
SUBWAY(r) is a registered trademark of Doctor's Associates Inc.
Universal Delivery Solutions, Inc. (UDSG.PK) is the first Company to
provide a 100%, turnkey delivery platform to the service industry
throughout North America (restaurant, retail, other). The system is
designed on both a customer relation management (CRM) system and a
service integrated technology backbone (interface) between customers,
call center and the personal industry provider of choice.
