The position of Chief Librarian, Queens College, City University of New
York, is now posted. Reporting to the Provost, the Chief Librarian
supervises academic libraries at the College and is responsible for library
information technology; personnel, fiscal and resource management;
collection development; and fund raising. Working collaboratively with
students, library personnel, faculty, and administrators, the Chief
Librarian will represent the College in University-wide partnerships and
initiatives and provide vision and innovative leadership to the campus
