I think you get a group of folks straight out of Newberry/Caldecott to
help and set it up and go from there. I think is closely related to what
Taylor & Martin are discussing on this months "Ivory Tower' column
http://www.igda.org/columns/ivorytower/
The difference between The Giver & The Stand is pretty obvious. Both can
be enjoyed by all age groups but The Giver is aimed at a particular
age group. Same for Judy Blume, same for Roald Dahl, etc.
The problem probably has to do with 'Education' Arcade. As I said I'd like
something along the lines of 'Literature'
I've cross listed this into a library forum where it may make more sense
and actually have folks more familiar with Newberry/Caldecott.
BIG QUESTION: who wants to create a award in the are of 'Excellence in
Game Play' for young adults? Send me mail and we can get started.

Subject: [GAMESNETWORK] I'm looking for some sort of ranking for games for
children.
Not looking for 'good educational' rankings. looking for good games for
kids: historically and current. Anthing like the Newbery Medal | Caldecott
Medal for kids games?
Thanks, Thom
