Library Information & Technology Services Coordinator. University
Libraries (UL) at Bowling Green State University (BGSU), Ohio invites
applications and nominations for the Library Information & Technology
Services (LITS) Coordinator position. Coordinates and participates in
day-to-day operations of LITS, including desktop support, online catalog,
web development, and digital initiatives; supervises staff; participates in
reference/instruction. Minimum qualifications: ALA-accredited master's
degree in Library and Information Science; relevant academic library
experience; strong knowledge and background in information technology;
knowledge of current Internet standards; experience with/knowledge of
Windows (2000/XP), Mac OS X, Unix/Linux; experience developing relational
databases and programming; ability to successfully track and manage
multiple projects and work collegially in a team environment; demonstrated
successful project management skills; supervisory experience; excellent
oral and written communication skills. Tenure-track faculty position.
Assistant Professor. Salary competitive and commensurate with peer
institution libraries for rank and position in keeping with candidate's
