By late December 2004 or early 2005 the Current Cites distribution list
and web site will move to a new home on the WebJunction.org web site
(hosted by OCLC). WebJunction will continue to provide the kind of support
we enjoyed at UC Berkeley, while also associating our service with other
related services for library staff and providing Current Cites with a
long-term home. Our policies will not change, nor will anyone be required
to login to access our web site.

We are working diligently to manage this transition in as smooth a manner
as possible, and we will alert you when major changes are imminent. We
will also institute redirection services from the former web site. We will
strive to keep disruptions at a minimum, but there may be occasional
disruptions of service, for which we apologize in advance.

Thank you for your patience during this transition period. We would also
like to thank the UC Berkeley Library, and the able staff there who have
provided us with our first home. In particular, Janet Garey, Garey Mills,
and Giulia Hill deserve special recognition for their support over the
years.
