Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Systems
Librarian to be  responsible for all activities pertaining to the integrated
library system (ILS), as well as for evaluating and maintaining electronic
databases, and working with the Internet Administrator to develop and
maintain the library's website. The library currently has electronic
subscriptions with about 15 different vendors, and uses Innovative
Interfaces' Innopac system.

Duties and responsibilities include:
1. Maintaining the Innovative Interfaces Innopac system (the ILS), including
performing patron downloads, downloading upgrades, and making corrections
and adjustments in the functioning of the program.  May involve planning and
coordination of upgrade to Millennium.
2.  Working with other library staff to develop policies and procedures for
maintaining the ILS.
3.  Working with Catalog Librarian to provide access points to electronic
resources through the online catalog.  Monitoring functionality of catalog
links.
4.  Evaluating new electronic databases for purchase; maintaining access to
current subscriptions; and  managing licensing agreements for subscription
databases.
5.  Working with the Internet Administrator to make any necessary
corrections and/or updates to the library's website, and to develop new
pages.  Monitoring functionality of links on website.
6. Providing some reference service to faculty, students, and patrons of the
library and participating with other librarians in the faculty liaison
program and collection development.

Skills and qualifications include:
MLS from an ALA-accredited institution
Experience with an integrated library system, preferably Innovative
Interfaces Innopac
Website administration experience
Computer experience and ability to adapt to new systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in and contribute to a team atmosphere
