On Wednesday, July 7, from 2-3 pm EST, you're invited to join the community
at WebJunction for a live, online presentation with Robin Osborne, editor of
the new book "From Outreach to Equity: Innovative Models of Library Policy
and Practice." She'll discuss the new paradigm of equity in the development
and implementation of library services. "Equitable service delivery," Robin
reminds us, "is the business of every department in the library." Joining
Robin will be three of the book's contributors, discussing their take on
innovative models of library policy and practice for new immigrants and
indigenous communities. The meeting will take place in conjunction with the
current community focus materials at WebJunction.org.
This meeting will take place online using Live Meeting Software (no download
or hardware required) and through a conference call. Just be one of the
first 50 people to fill out the registration information linked below, and
you'll receive login and call-in instructions on the confirmation page. You
do not have to be a member of WebJunction to participate in this event.
